In the late 1980s Kitchen Sink began publishing a comic book about
humanity 450 years into the future, struggling to survive a cataclysm that
had destroyed civilization. Even worse, the dinosaurs had reappeared! This
was XENOZOIC TALES, created and magnificently illustrated by Mark
Schultz. In its 14 issue run, XT won numerous awards,
including a number of Eisners and Harveys and has been republished in many
different collections. I was fortunate to be associated with the
title and began by inking Mark's pencils on the second issue (see below).
Subsequently, I pencilled and inked the eight page back-up stories for
the next twelve issues.
