I can't resist one more panel from "Snow Job." I first discovered
Eisner's The Spirit in the late 1950s, spending many a Saturday
afternoon at artist Larry Ivie's apartment, reading and rereading his treasured
collection and wondering if modern comics would ever approach this level
of sophistication. After a long and productive career most of us
can only envy, Will Eisner passed away in December, 2004, due to complications
